Wax Myrtle, #7
Wax Myrtle, #15
Myrica cerifera: Also known as the Southern Wax Myrtle, these plants are very salt tolerant and are a good choice for an oceanside landscape. Wax Myrtles can also survive less than desirable soils since they fix atmosperic nitrogen. In the spring and also when bruised, it emits a wonderful bayberry fragrance.
